Many people looking for a dentist also need a doctor, and this group lists the medical clinics, family physicians, urgent care and walk-in centers, hospitals, pediatricians, eye doctors, medical specialists and pharmacies near the dental practices on the site. Primary care in the US runs through family doctors and internists who coordinate referrals; urgent care centers handle minor injuries and illnesses without an appointment for far less than an emergency room; hospitals with emergency departments are the place for severe facial trauma or a dental infection that spreads. Pharmacies fill the antibiotics and pain medication a dentist prescribes and sell fluoride rinses and prescription-strength toothpaste.

Denton is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Denton is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Receptionist very welcoming, pointed me to a helpful gentleman who took me where I needed to be, very sweet and he also showed my husband where I was after heβd parked the car. Very little wait and warmly greeted by the lab tech, very efficient and professional. Often hospitals can be cold and overwhelming, not the case here! 5 stars

The staff were all wonderful, kind, caring and professional. Could not Ask for better care. Doctors were excellent and caring. Hospital itself was modern, clean and excellent. Only disappointment was the cafeteria. It closed at 2 pm and was closed over the weekend and would not allow a spouse that stayed to order food. Would definitely recommend the hospital.

As always Presby and its people are the best. I always have a great experience no matter the reason for my visit. I had surgery with Dr. Cobos this time on Thursday. Started out with Callie in admissions and just went up from there. Everyone was wonderful. Iβd like to thank Charlotte, Kristie, Amanda, Dr. Hini, Skyler and Tina and everyone I didnβt see, talk to or meet. Without these fine folks Presby would be just a building. Keep up the great work.

I was not taken care of. DO NOT COME HERE. They will offer you drugs before they offer a real solution. No they wont offer a wheel chair upon arrival or discharge even if you cant walk . If youβre screaming in pain you will still get discharged and if you donβt want to leave theyβll just offer a βstrongerβ sedative. I am insured and am close to losing my job as I have no solution. The medication I was prescribed is helping but I drive trucks for a living and have to abide to DOT regulations. Donβt you dare express your opinion or theyβll gang up on you like the vid below. If youβre a junkie this is the place to be just say your back hurts theyβll give you all the pills!!

My wife went in with chest pains and had an angiogram. That found some very blocked arteries and surgery was scheduled for the next day. I canβt say enough about the respect, compassion and professionalism of everyone involved in her care. The surgeon, Dr. Escobar was exceptional. The entire staff in the ICU was great and very attentive. We wouldnβt dream of going anywhere else. Did I mention how clean and comfortable the entire facility was?
